Taylor Cole Estate Agents proudly hosted their first charity golf tournament this month.  The tournament, which took place at The Belfry PGA Course on Friday 9th June, comprised of 14 teams.

The day, arranged by Jack Cole, was created to bring a variety of local companies together in the aim to raise money for the Tamworth based charity, Simon's Heroes.  Jack said, 'Being our first golf day, all proceeds would go to charity.  We relied on our business relationships and goodwill of local companies to assist with the event.  Prizes on the day were offered from Sutton Coldfield menswear shop, Ted Williams, bespoke clothing from Clements and Church, a fantastic three-night stay at the beautiful Bay Hotel in Coverack, Cornwall, as well as various contributions from local businesses including Quality Solicitors Davisons, Flame Rite Fires, Fisher Dewes Solicitors, Hayburn Rock Financial Planning and national website Rightmove.co.uk.

Simon's Heroes began as a running and fitness club, with an aim to improve the quality of life and make a positive difference to local children in need.  Founded in 2013, the Charity has raised thousands of pounds to date from sponsored events and donations and has provided life enhancing aid to a number of its beneficiaries.

Simon's Heroes provides resource and opportunities to its beneficiaries that are not always available through the NHS and other funding routes, and go a long way towards helping children with life limiting illness lead more independent and fulfilling lives.  To find out more about Simon's Heroes, visit: simonsheroes.org.uk.

We are pleased to confirm that £1,125 was raised from the day for this superb local Charity.
